Tilt & turn windows offer European styling and dual functionality. The sash opens two ways, giving you ventilation flexibility. Simply turn the handle 90 degrees to swing the window sash open into your room for a clear view and a full breeze. Or, if you want just a little fresh air, a 180-degree turn of the handle tilts the sash in to vent from the top.

Tilt and turn windows, as its name implies, have dual function handle allowing window to "tilt" inward (position C) for ventilation, and "turn" (position D) for easy cleaning. The turn design works excellent as an escape point in case of emergency.

All hardware, gaskets, weather-striping and glazing can be easily replaced without removing the frame from the structure. Tilt & turn window and door hardware may only need occasional lubrication.

Durability

U-PVC frames will not rust or corrode. They will not split, warp, twist or deform from extreme summer heat or cold. U-PVC is treated with special additives making the material extremely tough and durable. We refer to this as ‘Impact Modified’.

Combustion Resistant

U-PVC window frames are self extinguishing and will only burn when subjected to an external heat source. Fire testing research showed that U-PVC windows do not exhibit any aspects of combustion that could create additional hazards involving structure fires.

How To Measure Your Windows

To ensure the correct measurement of windows, measure your windows by width first. Measure first at the top, then the middle and finally the bottom. Be sure to measure from the surface of the jambs, and not from the trim strips. Use the smallest of these three measurements when ordering your window.

After measuring the width, measure the height in a similar fashion, starting with the top, then the middle and then the bottom. Again use the smallest measurement of the three. Remember, though, costly mistakes can happen if you are even off by a few centimeters.
